Felton Borough Celebrates a Milestone
This project is unique in that the Borough did not have a comprehensive plan or zoning ordinance. The mini-comprehensive plan contains community development statements which represent the Borough's vision, act as the foundation upon which RETTEW prepared the zoning ordinance, and support the ordinance requirements in a legal challenge. RETTEW provided quarterly updates on the progress of the two planning projects, which is a requirement of all Community Development Block Grant recipients. By meeting the Borough's project schedule and budget, RETTEW played a pivotal role in the Borough being able to review the ordinance for the largest residential subdivision in the Borough's history against the new zoning ordinance.
